Opportunities in Inclusive Community Living

Special Needs Living ensures opportunities for adults with
developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential and enjoy adulthood in an all-inclusive community

Our Services

Our services are centered on the individual, and based on their life-long goals, interests, and abilities. We aim to help them increase independence through hands-on training, education, and community-based programs, as well as via building friendships and supportive communities

Our Goal

Our long-term goal is to raise enough money to provide scholarships to special needs adults without other means, so they can have housing and caregiving security for the rest of their lives while choosing both their housing and the care they receive.

Our Plan

Our plan is to provide unique, inclusive and fun events. We will also provide a day program, respite, job coaching and caregiving. See our events/programs page and/or join our contact list for our latest activities.

Our
Mission

Our Mission is to ensure opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential to be independent, advocate for themselves, enjoy adulthood and friendships in an all-inclusive community.

Our Vision is to create a community where individuals with special needs can live healthy, safe and enjoyable lives while having full access to services and supports that promote independence and dignity.

About Me

I have been a Special Education Specialist and Life Skills Teacher for over 20 years. I have kept in touch with many former students who are now adults. My passion for teaching students with special needs has blossomed into a joy and purpose to help them have meaningful adult lives, to be the best they can be, and to share their unique gifts with society.

Sincerely,
Joyce Flores
